 Welcome to my web page, my name is Sable and I am the newest to the family since November 13, 2008. I have a unique story and it all started when Mom found me out in the parking lot where she works. She doesn’t know how I got there, but can only guess I was dropped off as the company where she works is isolated from homes and it would have been a long trek for me if I had run off from my previous family. When she walked to her car, she heard me meowing and I ran right to her although I was very scared. She knows I spent at least the afternoon right by her van because a coworker had seen me underneath her van around lunch time. Out of the 500 or so cars in the lot I chose hers to camp under hoping someone would help me and she did. She decided to take me home as she said she couldn’t leave me in the parking lot. And that is when it all started. She kept me in a separate room in her basement until she took me to the vet to get me checked.
They put up an ad to try to find me a home, but decided to keep me in the end. I am so thankful she helped me out and has taken great care of me since. I joined the house with the other cats and we all get along well.
They say I am a real scaredy cat because I am very jumpy and accidentally scratched Mom when she tried to put me in the carrier one day to take me to the vet. For the 1st couple weeks I was meowing a lot at night, but since then I have calmed down and sleep at night like everyone else. I have also become more social since I have gotten to know the family. I love to talk especially to get attention. 
My favorite places to sleep is the couch in the basement or my cat bed. Mom thinks I was abused or neglected some because I am often scared of them or any loud noises.
My coat is a beautiful blueish gray and the Vet said I am part Russian Blue. My fur is very soft which Mom compliments me on all the time.
I love to be petted and will keep rubbing your hand for attention once I get to know you. I am so happy to have a nice home and people to care about me.
