Here you see an actual 1964 Jim Beam bottle painted by Michelle at www.dreamyjeanniebottles.com to resemble the bottle from the first season of the show. This was my first painted bottle that I purchased from Michelle in the new year of 2002. The bottle isn't painted black, the gold leaf design is painted directly onto the bottle. Although, really only one color is used to create this bottle, it still remains as one of my favorite bottles. It has a classy look and one that no true Jeannie fan should be without. On the first season of I Dream of Jeannie Major Nelson used a clear glass stopper for the bottle when they returned from the island. The original stopper was left on the island after Jeannie smoked back into her bottle and into Major Nelson's bag. This stopper came from the 1956 Old Grand Dad Decanter. Since word got out, that stopper and it's bottle has been in high demand among I Dream of Jeannie fans. I spent a great deal of time searching and finally found and won an original 1956 Old Grand Dad Decanter from Ebay. I was thrilled to finally own one and display it in my collection. As well, I have taken pictures of my 1st season I Dream of Jeannie bottle along with this stopper. I love the way they look together and it makes me feel even more part of that magical show.
